Are Porcelain Crowns Secure?
Depending on your exact case the dental crowns can be secured in a number of different ways:
- Implant retained porcelain crowns – This is the most securest tooth replacement method available
- Tooth dental cement – The crown will be securely cemented to the prepared tooth it will be going over
- Dental bridges – This is a bridge of crowns and can be implant retained or cemented (depending on the situation)
I have just finished treatment at Ascent Dental Care and can only thank the team for their care and professionalism. I am a very nervous patient so opted for sedation and was glad I did as I now have a less traumatic memory of having a deep clean and treatment for 2 crowns. I discovered the one clinic whilst searching periodontal treatments in my area on google…I felt no pain just a small amount of discomfort, he reassured me throughout in a professional and caring manner….The caring and considerate attitude of all involved showed that they cared for my dental health past present and future. I asked about future treatments, and DR Nissen advised me according to my needs .At no point, did I feel that the costs involved were the main aim but that his genuine concern was to help me gain control of my dental health.
Made me feel relaxed when I was feeling a bit anxious, really friendly & knowledgeable about what they are doing & sent me off feeling very confident. Followed up with a courtesy call the next day.

The reception staff are all very helpful, polite, friendly and professional. The staffs and my Dr they both created a friendly welcoming an happy environment for me to walk into an it made sure that I was confident in having my treatment.
Excellent service, rang with a very painful toothache, given emergency appointment and recommended next steps. Following not being able to move up the NHS waiting list and still in pain returned after Christmas for extraction. What i was expecting to be a horrible painful process was done painlessly and efficiently and i cant speak highly enough of both Dentists i saw and the rest of the team. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with Gursh and his team with regard to orthodontic treatment. Very attentive, efficient and friendly service, making the whole process really quick and easy. Appointments for wire changes are so fast, meaning I’m in and out in minutes. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
