What Is Denplan?

Denplan is a well known and popular way to access private dental care whilst lowering your dental bills. At our practice we are able to offer a few different essential denplan plans to suit our patients needs.

How Does Denplan Work?

Denplan works on a direct debit monthly scheme, where a monthly fee is taken each month. The monthly fee will depend on what level of cover you have decided to go for. Our plans start from £13.50 a month.

Each plan will then entitle you to the essential recommended dental cover each year with other benefits as well. For example, the basic plan of £13.50 a month will cover you for your 2 routine dental checks and 2 hygiene scale and polishes each year, as well as any xrays as required. This plan will cost you a year £162, and if you paid on a per visit basis it would cost you £210 (2 check ups, 2 hygiene and 2 xrays) a year.

As well as covering you for your essential dental care there is also a further 15% discount towards any additional general work you may need, such as fillings.

It is recommended that you attend the dentist on a regular basis as it will help maintain your natural teeth for longer and any problems you may have will be picked up sooner than if you don’t go to the dentist on a regular basis. In terms of dentistry and dental care, the longer problems are left undiagnosed they can quickly become more serious and severe which leads to more treatment required and more money and time needed to be invested to rectify any problems.
