Welcome to One Dental Clinic! We are a local clinic in Dorridge, Birmingham that offer an extensive range of treatments, ranging from general dental work, to restorative, orthodontics, and dental implants.
Dental implants are a gap management option that are used to replace missing teeth securely. If you have lost a tooth or even multiple teeth, then dental implants may be a suitable option for you.
We offer free consultations to discuss the possibility of placing implants and whether it will be a suitable treatment for you. If you are actively suffering from gum disease, then this will need to be treated prior to receiving implant treatment. This is because the implants will need to be placed into your jaw bone, and you will need a sufficient amount of good quality of bone there for them to be successful. Sufferers of gum disease will be experiencing bone loss. If you do have gum disease, give us a call and book in with our periodontist, Dr Clifford Nissen.
Implants are considered the gold standard when it comes to tooth replacement, as it offers stability and security. There are other options available at replacing teeth and managing gaps, such as dentures, dental bridges etc. Implants will be a more expensive option than these other treatments, but they do bring a host of benefits to the patient. In the first instance we offer a free consultation so we can discuss with you what you are not happy with and what you are trying to achieve. We will examine your current situation and give you the various options that may be suitable. We will then provide you with a treatment plan outlining what was discussed.
Because implant cases are more complex than other treatments, further investigations will be required before the definitive treatment plan is written,as a CT (cone beam) scan and full case assessment may be required.
