Malveen graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and has been working in private practices since 2011. At undergraduate level she carried out research based in the field of implants that led to two publications in the journal Clinical Oral Implant Research 2011. She was nominated to represent her university nationally at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh where she was awarded a prize for the clarity and professionalism of her presentation. This allowed her to compete internationally at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) in Barcelona in 2010.
Currently she is undertaking a two year training program in London where she places implants and is working towards attaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
In 2013 she gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) which is a verbal and written examination. Malveen has a keen interest in her postgraduate education.
Malveen’s interest lies in cosmetic dentistry and she has completed a 1 year course in cosmetic dentistry in London. She is a certified practitioner for many short term brace systems which include 6 Month Smiles, Quick Straight Teeth, and Inman Aligner.
For nervous patients, she is able to make their trip to the dentist as relaxing as possible. She is sedation trained and is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). In addition to this she has trained with John Butler at Hypnotherapy Training International to gain skills in dental hypnosis and relaxation.
