Teeth whitening is one of the most effective ways in which to improve the overall appearance of your smile in a convenient and painless way. We offer a choice of three methods here at One Dental Clinic and in order to assess which technique best suits your requirements, a teeth whitening consultation is needed with the dentist who can advise you. After your programme of whitening has finished, we are able to provide you with further syringes at any time in order for you to top-up the effect.

Teeth Whitening Process
For all three teeth whitening treatments, we will take impressions of your upper and lower teeth, which will then be used in our dental laboratory to custom make your trays. Your trays will usually come back in one week. Depending on the exact teeth whitening treatment you have chosen, the procedure will be slightly different:
It should be pointed out that some stains, though reduced cannot be removed entirely i.e. tetracycline, fluorosis & myosin. Occasional banding is apparent due to dentine/enamel intrinsic staining, density thickness and areas of less calcification. The results are improved though variable from case to case.Nicotine staining may mask the effects of the bleaching and a regular visit to the hygienist is advised. A whitening consultation is needed in order to assess which technique best suits your requirements.
