I Lost Part Of My Tooth, What Do I Do?

Don’t panic, the best thing to do in this instance is to make an emergency appointment today. If you are in pain or not, it is best to get your tooth checked out, so a professional can give you advice on what is needed, and to spot any other signs that may be bad for your teeth.

It is important to understand that when something bad happens with your teeth, that pain may not be necessarily the first symptom you notice. So when you do start to feel pain, the situation may of already progressed from a simple fix. It is a common misconception that you should go see a dentist once you start to feel pain. By attending regular checks ups your professionals will be able to spot any early signs that may lead to the pain (there may be other warning signs before pain occurs).

Where Are We Based?

Our clinic is based in Dorridge which is just a short drive from Solihull. We are able to offer emergency appointments and a wide range of treatments to meet many different patient needs. As a private local practice, we have more availability to fit patients in at short notice, accommodating their emergency needs.

Treatments For Broken Teeth

In the first instance, our priority will always be to get you out of any pain that you may be in. The next step is to find a more permanent solution to your case. If you have broken a tooth, depending on the severity of the breakage, certain treatments may be suitable for you; such as inlays and onlays. In more severe cases, you may require a full porcelain crown to repair the broken tooth (depending on how much of the tooth has broken off).

At the emergency appointment, we will be able to give you advice on what options will be the most suitable option for you.
